I have discovered the diet secret!!! It has a couple names: pancakes, pizza, mashed potatoes, bacon, and ice cream!!

What is this 'something else' you are refering to dear Aunt Jeanette?? My scale is brand new...
Well, let's see...what I was thinking was, instead of the secret of your weight loss being due to pancakes, pizza, mashed potatoes, bacon, and ice cream, it must to be due to something else...like stressing over the test you had to take, walking around the museum, juggling schedules with family and friends, flying on an airplane...anything but all that food! I never once thought of your scale malfunctioning!
Andrea, I just realized what you meant about your are back with a picture. So far I don't see your picture, but I can see that you have set up a blogger account!!
Try going to your settings and on the comments tab click on "show profile images on comments." I think that might make your picture show up on our comments. I hope...
I went there but I think that is for people who comment on my blog will have their pictures shown. It was already marked 'yes'. Oh well...

Look at all the stuff here to read! I've been going through cold chills of withdrawal from the ever-livin' internet! First I had to reload my operating system (actually, I didn't HAVE to! I just CHOSE to because I wanted a fresh start). I fresh-started myself out of no drivers for getting on line! That problem is not yet fixed so I am using the laptop. But on top of that, our router decided to give up the ghost the very same evening that I had computer problems!! They were two unrelated issues but it took a bit of thinking to figure that out. It took very little thinking to realize we needed professional help! Dontcha just hate having to take all connecting wires and cables off your computer a drag the thing off to the shop? If it weren't for being connected to you guys, I think I'd just give the internet up and start reading books again! Anyway, I'm back and I am astonished by the weight-loss Andrea pulled and the maintenance trick Pat keeps bringing forward!
Well, J, you and I need to keep slugging along.

Yes, Andrea has had miracle weight loss, but she works really hard at it, too, especially the exercise. Pat is just as steady and consistent as can be. I know she would like to be losing, but it sure is good to be able to maintain, too. She told me that except for the fact that her husband has weighed in on the same scale with varying weights, she would think the thing is broken!
Yes, slugging along...or we will look like a couple of slugs! (Snicker)
