Happy Birthday to YOU ....da-de-da-da, da-doo ....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
JEANETTE!

We'll refrain from the slaps -- that many might do real harm! This is one of those days in the year when you have every right to feast!

Well, you may not see much need for commotion but ... C-A has now broken even with her all-time lowest weight
during this venture and it is time to grin!

I also want to formally announce my decision to raise my goal to ... 150 pounds!

Thank you, Carol-Ann! I saw this post last night, but it did not have the birthday greeting on it then. This morning I came to make a comment on it, and what a surprise to see this addition!

I do believe eating out may be on the plan for tonight, so that will be fun! Otherwise, it is work, work, work today!

Good for you on the weight loss! I don't know if I will end up modifying my weight loss goal. I'm too far away yet to see how 150 would feel!

Talkin' about eating out in Denver -- do you still have that amazing Mexican restaurant there with guys diving off of cliffs and crooners drifting through with oversize guitars and romantic violins?

I hope you've had a real nice day, sis! If you'd been here I would have put a bouquet of frangipani, snow on the mountain and yellowbells by yer breakfast plate! Don't worry -- I'd have picked off those big red ants from the yellowbells first! We'd have had dinner on the front terrace (by the frangipani tree) and I'd have ordered the black and red rooster be caughterized and potterized for the celebration! Of course we'd have had a treasure hunt takin' us all the way from the sawdust in the wood house to the feeding trough in the chicken house to the little tin drinkin' cup hangin' from the nail in the wall by the sandbucket water drum -- you know the place!

But hey ... it's the thought that counts, right? So consider yourself loved because the thought was there even though it's a no-can-do-anymore plan!

And just how old ARE you again? and again and again!

Carol-Ann, you are just too much...You succeeded in taking me down memory lane in just one paragraph. All the long-ago pictures that came to mind in just a second! I would have loved that little celebration. The good part is, this was a totally non-fattening way to celebrate, all of it in our minds!

Yes, we still have that restaurant here. It is pretty unforgettable, isn't it! You'll have to come again soon.

I have had a very nice and busy day, went out to the Outback Steakhouse with my family and ordered their salmon!! Ha ha!
